The brief was clear and unforgiving — open the 150th store of The Sleep Company in a way that signalled scale, milestone and aspiration, without sliding into the territory of a typical retail opening. A small lobby in Andheri had to feel like a city moment.

We started with a mood-board grounded in the brand's premium positioning — bottle-green, brass, monstera-led florals, warm tungsten. The ceremonial reveal was anchored to a custom cloth-drop mechanism rigged 30 minutes before doors opened, with three failsafe pull-points.

Outside, a branded backdrop carried the brand's milestone messaging in a way that read both up-close and from across the street. Inside, the reception was dressed with floral garlands and a brass lamp installation framed by petals — designed to give every customer a photo moment before they reached the showroom.

On the floor, our supervisor coordinated the band cue, the cloth-drop and the entry queue management to within 15 seconds of the planned timeline. By 11:30, doors were open. By 12:45, the cloth was on a rigger's shoulder and we were halfway through breakdown.
